On September 11, 2001, at 9:28 a.m., after two planes had already crashed into the World Trade Center and one plane had crashed into the Pentagon, United Airlines Flight 93 was hijacked by four Al-Qaeda terrorists. It crashed into a field in Somerset, Penn., killing all 44 people on board.
Nineteen years later, this documentary provides a minute-by-minute account of what happened during Flight 93′s final moments, including previously classified information such as U.S. Secret Service documents, air traffic control transmissions, phone records, voicemails, first person testimony and a top secret audio recording. These pieces come together to tell the heartbreaking story of how the lives of 33 passengers and seven crew members ended that tragic day.
