Former Disney star Bella Thorne has made an absolute killing since launching her OnlyFans account last week.
A representative for the app told Page Six the 22-year-old made USD$1 million in just 24 hours. Imagine getting that amount of dosh in a single day.
Thorne is reportedly the first OnlyFans account holder to earn that much money in that short time period.
The 22-year-old is charging $20 (£15) a month and a press release said ‘safe estimates’ forecasted Bella earning $1 million a month. Try one day buckos.
The actor has appeared on Disney’s Shake It Up and Frenemies, as well as other big shows like The O.C, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and the TV adaptation of Scream. She’s now well departed from that squeaky clean Mickey Mouse Corp image and even leaked her own nude snaps after being threatened by a hacker.
She told Paper magazine: « OnlyFans is the first platform where I can fully control my image; without censorship, without judgement, and without being bullied online for being me. »
Thank u @paper I’m excited to talk about the politics behind female body shaming & sex!!! With the amazing director sean baker who I’m proud to call my friend
In a statement, the former Disney star also said she felt OnlyFans was a ‘safe place’ for her to be who she is ‘without judgement’ or ‘without censorship’.
Thorne has been making waves in the adult industry recently after directing a short erotic film called Her & Him.
Starring Abella Danger and Small Hands, the film tells the story of a boyfriend who finds some stuff on his girlfriend’s phone that suggests she wants to kill him.
The whole project was made as part of PornHub’s new Visionary Directors Series, which aims to take some less-familiar faces to the industry in order to bring something different.
It’s been described by PornHub Vice President Corey Price as ‘a modernistic, sexually explicit Romeo and Juliet-like depiction of two star-crossed lovers who have an unbridled sexual longing for each other’.
As for the move from child-star to porn director, Thorne said: « What inspired me to do the movie was basically thinking about this relationship between a male and a female and this fight over dominance and how this relates to our general world, besides in a sexual scenario. »
She continued: « The vision behind the story was basically creating these two dynamic characters that could kind of, again, switch off from a dominant and submissive.
« My vision originally was to make a Christmas horror movie. And instead I made a very beautiful, ethereal, neon type of vision. Sometimes you go in thinking that you want something specific and you totally change your mind. »
