NRL rookie Cody Ramseyâs mum has stolen the hearts of NRL fans after she broke down in tears as he celebrated a fairytale moment.
NRL: Cody Ramsey had already crossed for his first ever NRL try and when he got over again later in the half it was all too much for his mum.
Dragons rookie Cody Ramsey stole the show with a fairytale first half double â his mum stole the headlines with an emotional moment on the sidelines.
Ramsey left his mum Kim Stojanov an emotional wreck as she watched his dream come true with two tries inside his first 35 minutes in the NRL.
Stojanov was spotted wiping tears away after his second try by the Fox League broadcast — and she broke down in tears again when interviewed at half time.

The 20-year-old speedster had an incredible two tries from his first four touches of the football, scoring the Dragons only points as they went into the sheds at half time trailing the Raiders 14-8 at WIN Stadium in Wollongong.
His second came with some clever footwork after Raiders winger Semi Valemei was caught out of position in the 35th minute.
Ramsey had to pull up to catch a poor pass from Matt Dufty before pinning his ears back and diving for the corner.
When the try was awarded his mum was caught on cameras a blubbering mess, overcome with pride.
“What dreams are made of. That gives me goosebumps. I love that. You work so hard as a kid and you dream, your only dream as a young fella is to play first grade.
“It’s your parents who get you there. Your family, your brother, your sister. They take you through all the lower grades. They support you. They invest in you. You are their life. Then you’re on debut at WIN Stadium and you come up with two first half tries.”
Fox League commentator Dan Ginnane said: “If you can’t feel something, you do not have a heart.
“That is just magic. That is just beautiful. It’s a first half he will never, ever forget.”

Fox League sideline reporter Hannah Hollis said at half time Ramsey had 57 friends and family in the stands cheering him on.
Because of the NRL’s COVID protocols this season Stojanov said she hasn’t been able to see her son in person since March.
It made Saturday’s fairytale even more emotional. “I’m emotional now. I’ve started crying again,” she said.
“His dream’s come true. And he’s out there doing what he loves. It’s amazing. It’s just amazing. And everyone is here to celebrate with him.”
The Raiders steamed ahead in the second half, scoring four unanswered tries to secure a comprehensive 37-8 victory.
