Portland Mayor following deadly shooting: « we must all stop the violence »

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler and Police Chief Chuck Lovell spoke out on Sunday aftera deadly shooting happened in downtown Portland on Saturday night. "The tragedy last night must never be repeated, all of us must denounce violence," Mayor Wheeler said. "It doesn’t matter who you are or what your politics are, we must all stop the violence. " According to police, calls came in at about 8:45 p. m. Saturday for gunfire near Southwest 3rd and Alder Street.
