Sami Zayn Talks About His Storyline with The Bloodline
Fans of wrestling were thrilled when Sami Zayn hit Roman Reigns with a chair at the Royal Rumble premium live event. This moment had been anticipated for a long time, as Reigns had treated Zayn poorly during his time as an ‘Honorary Uce’ in The Bloodline. Despite many fans thinking that Zayn and Reigns should have headlined WrestleMania 39, they went on to have a critically acclaimed match at the Elimination Chamber premium live event. In a recent interview, Zayn talked about the later stages of his storyline with The Bloodline and how he thought it would lead to a match with Reigns at ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’.
The Exciting Period of Wrestling
Zayn revealed that he had thought that his storyline with The Bloodline would lead to a match with Reigns at WrestleMania 39. However, Cody Rhodes’ return changed the plans. Rhodes was widely accepted, and the fans wanted him to dethrone Reigns. The stories of Rhodes and Zayn rubbed up on each other, and the whole thing was helping each other. Everyone was lifting everybody, and that’s when wrestling is done right. Zayn interacting with The Bloodline and Reigns brought his stock up so much. It was a case of the tide rising for everybody. When Rhodes came back, it was the same thing. The tide was going up for everybody, and that’s what made that eight to nine-month period exciting.
