The 2020 college football season officially began on Saturday night in Montgomery, Alabama, where Austin Peay and Central Arkansas met for a Week Zero opening game before major college football conferences kick off next month.
The very first offensive play of the game delivered the pure college football madness we’ve been craving all summer. C.J. Evans Jr. received a pitch and sprinted away from the Central Arkansas defense down the sideline, then cut back to the center of the field and made the final defender miss to score the touchdown. College football is back!
