Travis, a blond Labrador, works at UofL hospital assisting the therapists in performing exercises with patients to increase their strength, range of motion and function.
When he’s not with the physical therapy team, he works with occupational therapy patients on fine hand motor skills, reaching and functional activities of daily living.
He also helps patients, some of which are there for cancer rehab, by cuddling with them and helping take their mind off the apprehension of therapy.
UofL Health shared their wishes for a Happy National Dog Day for Travis and hopes he brings others some joy as well.
