Jack Harlow performed his viral hit “What’s Poppin” on Sunday (Aug. 30) from the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) pre-show stage.
Performing from beneath the bleachers before entering the basketball court in an arena surrounded by masked cheerleaders and basketball players.
“What’s Poppin” is a single from Harlow’s EP, Sweet Action by Generation Now, produced by JetsonMade, Pooh Beatz, and LosTheProducer. The song quickly went viral on TikTok and reached the Top 10 on US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The superstar was among several other incredible pre-show performances including Chloe x Halle, Lewis Capaldi, Machine Gun Kelly, Blackbear, Travis Barker and Tate McRae.
Hosted by Keke Palmer, The 2020 MTV VMAs air on Sunday, August 30th at 8PM ET/PT will broadcast across 11 ViacomCBS brands including BET, BET Her, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nick at Nite, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land and VH1, as well as The CW, making it available to an expanded broadcast audience for the first time.
