Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 3 ‘Wilds’ Launches Soon
Fortnite: Battle Royale is set to launch its new season, Season 3 ‘Wilds’, on June 9th. The new season will replace the current Japanese cyberpunk theme with a nature-themed season that introduces new biomes, including a jungle biome, to the game’s Chapter 4 map. The Season 2 Battle Pass will be available until June 8th at 11pm PT / June 9th at 2 2am ET, after which servers will go down for the big Season 3 update.
What to Expect from Season 3
While there is no live-event to end the season or kick off ‘Wilds’, players can expect new trailers, lots of map changes, a new Battle Pass with some Transformers themed content, and much more. The new Battle Pass skins have been revealed, and players can check them out in more detail in the images provided.
The exact length of the server downtime for the Season 3 update is unknown, but it can last anywhere from a couple of hours to several days. Most likely, the game will be back online with the Season 3 update in the middle of the night somewhere around 2 or 3 am PT / 5 or 6 am ET on June 9th.
