That’s it. Another goal to the Dogs from the centre clearance, through Caleb Daniel and it should be over. He pushed forward well there Daniel and got a nice handball and snapped on the run.
Just as we lament the lack of scoring, Lachie Hunter marks a shanked kick into the forward 50 and converts an easy set shot, after missing two earlier in the game.
The Dogs are trying to lock it down and have absorbed a large amount of pressure on their goal.
Freo still within touching distance if they can sort out their attack, but Bulldogs defending desperately.
The Dogs have got to hold out for one more quarter and if they do, they’re finals bound.

15-points isn’t enough breathing space, but the Dockers tried hard to get some run going in that quarter and the Dogs held out sensationally well.
There were plenty of last ditch tackles, smothers and blocks close to goal that were crucial.
Bailey Smith crunches a snap at goal from about 40m out to restore the Dogs two goal margin. Dogs well on top in the clinches. Bodes well for them despite being one down on the bench.
That’ll bring a cheer to Demon hearts, who can make the finals if the Dogs lose.
