Dustin Martin celebrated Richmond’s third premier in four years – and his third Norm Smith medal for best player in the grand final – with a warm embrace from the captain’s wife

Celebrating on the pitch after the Tigers’ win from behind at the Gabba on Saturday night, the notoriously private star spotted Brooke Cotchin in the crowd and rushed over for a tight hug

He lifted Brooke off her feet as he kissed her emotionally, the couple sharing a few words before going their separate ways

Celebratory hug: Notoriously private AFL superstar Dustin Martin, 29, shared a warm hug with Brooke Cotchin as Richmond won the grand final against Geelong in Brisbane on Saturday (pictured)

Martin is close to Tigers captain Trent Cotchin and his wife Brooke, having shared a house together

‘I learned so much about Dusty, the depth of him as a human being, some of the challenges he faced growing up, the reason he behaved in certain ways at particular times and, above all, authenticity, caring and nurturing the human that he is,  » Trent Cotchin wrote for the Herald Sun in 2017

The closeness between the Tigers’ players had increased until 2020, as they were forced to live together in quarantine while playing all but the season opener between the States due to the continued lockdown of Melbourne

Ecstatic: Dustin naturally couldn’t hide his glee at his team’s victory, as he walked over to the blonde in the grandstand and hugged her tightly

Brooke fined AFLs $ 20,000 after breaking quarantine regulations to visit a day spa on the Gold Coast in July

«  It was an honest mistake and a mistake for which I am incredibly remorseful,  » said Brooke «  I am the first to admit that I am not perfect and that I make mistakes, that is a mistake that I must own and learn ‘

The Tigers stormed the summit of Geelong, coming back from 21 points as half-time approached to win by 31 points

Martin’s goal just before half-time gave Richmond a lifeline, and the Tigers took the upper hand in the third quarter, regaining the lead before running away with the game in the last quarter.

‘First of all, I would just like to thank Geelong for this awesome game,’ he said

‘You are a great club Bravo to Gaz (Gary Ablett) for your incredible career At the AFL, Toyota, the government, last but not least, the Richmond football club Allons-y’

Dustin is also said to have dated Phoebe Carpenter, who is also the ex-girlfriend of NRL Newcastle Knights half-back Mitchell Pearce

Disclaimer: In March of last year it was reported that Dustin was dating model Chontelle Berryman (pictured) It was rumored he and Chontelle had been shot down in flames

Dustin’s manager Ralph Carr previously revealed that it was their «  firm policy that neither we nor Dustin comment on his private life  »

Previously Linked: Phoebe Carpenter (pictured) reportedly had a brief relationship with Dustin and was known as ‘Mrs. M’ for a while

Online chat: Phoebe (center) was nicknamed « Mrs. M » by her pals while the couple were reportedly together
