An urgent coronavirus warning has been issued to those who attended a university campus in Adelaide over a two-week period.
Anyone from 13. until 28. Visited the Intensive English Language Institute on the Flinders University Sturt campus on November 11th, must self-isolate immediately.
The new advice follows two new coronavirus cases diagnosed on Saturday, including one that attended the English Institute.
Chief Health Officer Nicola Spurrier said the man is an occasional contact and a reminder of how contagious the virus can be.
« The information I am giving you today shows how contagious this virus is, » she told reporters on Saturday.
« This person has been viewed as an occasional contact rather than a close contact and again absolutely confirms the information that we have already given people.
The other case diagnosed on Saturday was a child who was already isolated and posed no risk to the community.
The diagnoses bring the Parafield cluster number to 33 people, but Prof. Spurrier said she feared unidentified cases were floating around.
Your concern is compounded by the fact that only 3,840 tests have been performed in the last 24 hours.
« It was quite a drop in terms of testing and I was a bit disappointed when I saw that number this morning, » she said.
