Victorian batting sensation Will Pucovski to start his KFC BBL career after signing with the Melbourne Stars for the upcoming season
Pucovski, 22, mainly focused on red ball cricket early in his young career in an approach that brought him closer to the Australian squad
The youngster will now bolster the Stars’ batting lineup as they seek redemption for the BBL final loss last year

Pucovski made his first class debut for Victoria in February 2017 and has spanned four centuries in his first 20 games
He has made 12 A-list games over 50, hitting his first century in this format against Gloucestershire last winter while touring Australia A tour of England that coincided with the World Cup at 50
His only previous experience in T20 cricket has been in the Victoria Premier Cricket competition with the Melbourne club In just four innings he had 171 points at an average of 4275 and strike rate of 123

He is currently in Adelaide with Victoria’s Sheffield Shield side, which will play their season opener against South Australia starting on Friday
