As Tottenham Hotspur enters another busy phase of an already hectic 2020-21 campaign, Jose Mourinho seems already to be anticipating the second half of the season.
So far the North Londoners have looked in great shape in all competitions and are in second place in the table, just one point behind leaders Leicester City.
The Portuguese are believed to be trying to strengthen their side in anticipation of possible injuries and fatigue.
According to Football Insider, citing a Spurs source, it is believed that Davinson Sanchez could be, although no final plan has been agreed at this point and will only be sacrificed based on what happens over the next few weeks, to have some leeway for transfers.
Mourinho already has ample cover in the central defensive areas and the fact that Sanchez has been dropped in the last three games suggests the manager’s mindset.

If Spurs are to build on their success of the season so far, allowing Mourinho, a Premier League winner, to dictate his needs and wants must be seen as a sensible option.
Daniel Levy is notorious for breaking the purse strings, but if he believes there is any chance of getting close to winning a title he must go out of his way to support his manager.
