World News – CA – Titans activate Isaiah Wilson, Greg Mabin from Reserve / COVID-19 list

2020 Tennessee Titans first-round pick and offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson, as well as practice team defensive back Greg Mabin, have both been activated from the Reserve / COVID roster -19, the team announced on Saturday

Wilson had the longest stint of any player on the roster, as he was placed there on September 6, his second Mabin stint had the second longest stint on the roster after being put there September 24

With Wilson and Mabin both now off the roster, the Titans have a total of 12 players, all of whom have been added since September 29.

It remains to be seen how far Wilson will be in the pecking order when he returns. Right tackle Dennis Kelly is consolidated in his starting status, and from what we’ve seen and heard about the performance of Wilson during training camp, he’s probably not ready to be the main replacement either

That job will likely go to swing tackle Ty Sambrailo, who has already played left tackle snaps in the absence of Taylor Lewan Sambrailo will almost certainly be the first man off the bench at both tackle points

During his stint on the Reserve / COVID-19 list, Wilson found himself in legal trouble after being arrested for DUI His original court date scheduled for October 7 has since been pushed back to February 2021 , so he should be out of any sort of punishment for the rest of the season
