People looking after some of Saskatchewan’s most vulnerable citizens will receive a temporary wage supplement.
A new phase of the Saskatchewan Temporary Wage Supplement Program will save $ 400 per month for two months starting in November. 19 for workers caring for the elderly.
“As Premier Moe recently announced, visits to all long-term care facilities and personal care homes will be suspended, starting in November.. On Wednesday, Finance Minister Donna Harbauer said in a statement that the number 19 excludes clemency reasons.

The Education Ministry announced the restrictions on Tuesday and said they will remain in place at least until December. 17 as the county tries to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
“But we also know that there is something worse than not allowing visitors in our long-term care centers to let COVID enter our long-term care centers.. We know the results of this can be deadly and can be devastating.
The government said the bounty targets qualified workers in long-term care facilities, personal care homes, integrated health care facilities (both long-term and short-term care) and home care workers who care for the elderly in their homes.
It applies to full-time, part-time, and casual workers regardless of income level, but excludes contractual third-party service provided in those facilities.
“By creating a new phase of the Temporary Wage Supplementation Program, our government will ensure that workers affected by these new measures get the financial assistance they need,” Harbauer said.
The county said more details about the program, including an application form, will be available online in the coming days.
