Scott has only caused trouble for his old acquaintance Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) since joining the Rovers Return earlier this year The truth about his dark past was finally revealed recently when it was confirmed that Scott and Johnny had committed a crime together over three decades ago, Johnny letting Scott take the fall

Feeling more and more guilty after the terrible incident was brought to the forefront of his mind, Johnny broke down when Scott violently robbed the Bistro and shot cop Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) earlier this week.

Johnny finally confessed the truth – or at least part of it – to his astonished wife Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) and promised to report Scott to the police

When tonight’s episode (October 30) started, it looked like Jenny was ready to give Johnny a second chance for his cheating, telling him he had to work on their « wedding wreck »

But Scott once again threw a wrench in the works for Johnny when he showed up to the Rovers and told Jenny that her husband had left a security guard dead while they committed their crime – a detail that Johnny had omitted from his own account

Jenny was horrified, as was Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell), who had quietly walked in and heard every word

Scott decided to offer a shaken Emma £ 5,000 for her half-brother Oliver Battersby’s fund in exchange for her silence and, although she was clearly struggling with her conscience, Emma accepted the bribe. -wine for Oliver’s sake

Meanwhile, after finally revealing himself to Jenny about his guilt over the security officer’s plight, Johnny left a note for his wife revealing he was going to the police station to confess. the truth Jenny desperately tried to call her, only for Scott to appear and hold her at gunpoint

Speaking to Johnny, Scott ordered him to go home immediately if he wanted Jenny to « see her next birthday »

When Johnny arrived he said he had « bottled » him, but the menacing Scott didn’t believe him and threatened to kill them all to « come out in a flame of glory. » said he was « beyond attention » and furious that Johnny had built a life for himself as he struggled since being released from prison

But there was a twist when the police suddenly arrived and it was revealed that Johnny had secretly managed to denounce Scott As Scott was arrested at gunpoint, poor Jenny and Johnny collapsed relief in the pub

Thankfully, it looks like Johnny and Jenny’s ordeal is finally over Digital Spy can confirm that tonight’s scenes marked Scott’s last appearance on the soap opera, as his short-term storyline arrived at his conclusion
