Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton started to slip, giving himself up after dropping a potential sack when Washington’s Jon Bostic jumped in and hit Dalton in the head with his helmet, leaving the quarterback Cowboys face down Bostic was kicked out of the game for the kick Dalton also left the game and did not return after being diagnosed with a concussion
With Dalton currently in concussion protocol, the Eagles face the prospect of facing rookie quarterback Ben DiNucci in their Sunday night game DiNucci replaced Dalton and completed two of his three passes for 39 yards
If DiNucci starts on Sunday, the Eagles won’t make it into Sunday’s game completely blind.The team’s Midwestern scout Jim Ward has been following DiNucci’s path for a high school quarterback just to the outside Pittsburgh, through his stint at Pitt, and finally as a starting quarterback for James Madison University
