World News – GB – FPL Gameweek 4 tips: throw the net on the Leicester star

A high-scoring Premier League start to the season has caused headaches for defenses – but FPL managers still have options at this end of the field

Four players have scored hat tricks so far this season, while there have been seven instances where a team has scored four or more and seven games with six or more goals in total

The AP transfer score metric for each FPL player assesses their form, ownership, price, and next match difficulty (FDR) to create an overall score, with form representing 50% and other categories as well weighted

Foxes full-back Timothy Castagne is far ahead of the table this week despite the rain of goals – or maybe because of it, with Atalanta’s summer signing contributing a goal and three assists, but only a clean sheet in the first three games

If you don’t have these two in your #FPL right now, what’s the point? 🤷‍♂️— Leicester City (@LCFC) September 27, 2020

His 15% stake caps his differential potential, but a transfer score of 83 nonetheless leaves him far from the pack, with fellow defender Ezri Konsa at 75

Tyrone Mings, Konsa’s teammate for Aston Villa, completes the defensive podium out of 73, ranked fourth overall in the match behind Tottenham striker Harry Kane

Kane is leading our forwarding recommendations for the second week in a row following his extraordinary performance against Southampton, when he netted all four goals for Son Heung-min before scoring the fifth himself

Brighton’s Neal Maupay is not far behind, dropping from third to second among forwards and fifth overall after three goals and an assist in his last two games Like Kane, the Frenchman is his team’s regular penalty shooter – an increasingly valuable commodity at the start of the season given the stricter rules in handball

Burnley’s Chris Wood is just behind Maupay at the same £ 6 prize of 5m, with a transfer score of 70 to Maupay’s 72

West Brom have just one point to show for their first three top-flight return games, but their performances have been encouraging – at least in an offensive sense

Midfielder Matheus Pereira left Sporting permanently this summer after a successful Championship loan and demonstrated his quality with one goal and two assists in the last two games despite his side losing 5-2 against Everton and a three-draw goal with Chelsea

He was transferred by over 75,000 managers last week, but only 34% ownership remains for a transfer score of 71 – just ahead of Helder Costa, who has more than twice as many transfers this week, and Leeds teammate Mateusz Klich The latter, however, is the choice if you trust the sanctions

Leeds also provide our third goalkeeper this week, with Illan Meslier behind Karl Darlow – excellent for Newcastle in the absence of Martin Dubravka – and Rui Patricio, whose stock is bolstered by the upcoming series of friendlies. Wolves
