Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, said she was delighted to return to the Natural History Museum, of which she is the patron, and revealed she has some exciting news to share tomorrow night
The Duchess of Cambridge beamed as she expressed her joy at being back at the National History Museum in a new surprise video
Kate looked glamorous in a short clip posted to Kensington Palace social media pages, in which she teased the announcement of this year’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year award winner
Kate, who is the patron saint of the Natural History Museum, said: « It is so wonderful to be back at the reopened Natural History Museum where we can all enjoy its treasures again
« I was fortunate enough to get a quick preview and can say it’s really spectacular
The National Museum of History also shared a number of behind-the-scenes photos from the set, which show Kate smiling and chatting
Along with the video on Twitter, Kensington Palace wrote: « As patron of the Natural History Museum, the Duchess of Cambridge will announce the winner of Wildlife Photographer of the Year for the first virtual award ceremony competition prizes Log on Tuesday to see this year’s spectacular picture! «
According to the court circular, Kate met with the museum’s executive director of development, Fiona McWilliams, last week
Kate has been the museum’s godmother since April 2013 and has made several public and private tours
In 2014, she and Prince William were treated to a private visit to the Sensational Butterflies exhibit with Prince George to celebrate his first birthday
