Worswick left Michelin-starred restaurant The Latymer in Pennyhill Park, where he worked for a month under four years, at the end of last year to join The Shanghai EDITION hotel as executive chef He stepped down from the role during the coronavirus pandemic to set up the previous Cook Thief take-out concept, where he was chief executive
The chef tweeted: “I am so happy to be a part of the new era @savoygrill as Executive Chef in the exciting times to come !! «
Worswick’s CV also includes time as a Chef at the Thornton Hall Hotel and Spa in the Wirral and as a Chef at the Michelin-starred Glenapp Castle in Ballantrae, Girvan
He started his career in St Martins-on-the-Isle on the Isles of Scilly in 2005, where he spent four years training before becoming sous-chef at the restaurant of David Everritt-Matthias, then two Michelin stars , Le Champignon Sauvage in Cheltenham, where he worked for two years
He made the final shortlist as the Northwest Champion on the BBC’s Great British Menu
