Strictly 2020 aired their first live show last week and Jamie opened the episode with his professional dance partner Karen Hauer
His involvement in the new series comes a year after his initial signing to fight for the coveted Glitterball Trophy, but he was later forced to retire after suffering a foot injury.
At the time, he appeared in the pre-recorded launch episode and partnered with Oti Mabuse, but did not progress further in the competition. Former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher was then brought in to replace him, and Oti and Kelvin won the series.
