Fans of Good Morning Britain will probably have noticed that Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid are absent from their duties this week
The ITV show – airing weekly between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. – is currently (starting October 19) hosted by Kate Garraway and her co-host Ranvir Singh

Piers and Susanna usually take the reins between Monday and Wednesday, but the duo are currently on a midterm hiatus
The showcase duo will be out for two weeks, with Piers breaking the news during one of the shows last week

He said: « We’re done mid-term, really exciting I’ll be moving from the sofa downstairs to the upstairs on my vacation »
And referring to the speculation that there might be a mid-term « breaker » lockout, Susanna added: « You get a two week breaker from us »
Piers then added that they would be back to cover preparations for the US presidential election, which takes place on November 3.
He said: « The good news is that because I know you will be missed, we will be back for US Election Week
Susanna clarified that by « there » he meant they would cover the election from the GMB studio
