Richmond veteran Bachar Houli is the recipient of the 2020 Jim Stynes ​​Community Leadership Award

The AFL is delighted to announce Bachar Houli of Richmond Football Club as the recipient of the Jim Stynes ​​Community Leadership Award 2020

Houli was recognized for his dedication and commitment to community work and as a driving force for inclusion and social cohesion through his role within the Bachar Houli Foundation

Houli is seen as a community leader and role model through the work of the Bachar Houli Foundation The Foundation focuses on engaging young Muslims in football through a series of community engagement programs and pathways to men and women in partnership with the AFL and the Richmond Football Club

The Bachar Houli Foundation has engaged more than 30,000 young people and offers nine unique national programs each year, including the Bachar Houli academies, Ramadan dinners, the Bachar Houli Cup and the employment program
