The last day at Flemington was also delayed, with Racing Victoria stewards postponing one of the day’s features – the Queen Elizabeth Stakes – by 40 minutes due to a persistent computer failure at Tabcorp in Australia

The problems have taken their toll on TAB punters across the country as they have not been able to place bets since the races started in the early afternoon

While interstate meetings in New South Wales and South Australia were postponed for at least one race, Flemington stuck to his original schedule until the end of Race 4
