The 33-year-old victim was attacked off the coast of Australia’s far north Queensland on September 23 and bitten in the head and neck

The man was snorkeling around 4 p.m. at Anchor Bay, off the resort town of Lizard Island, newscomreports at

Agents from the Ministry of the Environment and Science will now go to Île aux Lézards to find and eliminate the estuarine crocodile

Earlier this month, spooky images emerged of a mammoth crocodile hiding near a path where young children were playing

The dreaded beast was spotted by a visitor walking along the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve in Singapore

He observed his surroundings just below the water’s surface, with children’s voices heard in the background

The video was taken near the visitor’s path leading to the Sungei Buloh Bridge

An image of the route showing the point where the fang was seen shows how close the beast is to the path

Last year another large crocodile was found on the same stretch of path and barricades were subsequently erected to prevent deadly animals from entering the trails

Officials advise that if anyone sees a croc, they should slowly back up and stay calm

For this reason, people are told to stick to designated routes and not stray from them
