The Loose Women panelists remembered their’ worst days’ at work today when Andre McLean recalled a nasty whiplash that landed them in the hospital
Loose female star Andrea McLean struggled on her worst day as a panelist on the show.
Hosting today’s show with Brenda Edwards, Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams, the group remembered their « worst work days ». «
And Andrea’s was her « Reverse Bungie » in which she was catapulted into the air live on the show.
But she revealed that she had tilted her head before starting up, which meant that she was suffering from terrible whiplash.
Andrea recalled, « I did this thing for charity, remember when I did the reverse bungie?
« That was me! What happened, I was so professional that I kept going, I was all in position and it would have been fine if I stayed there.
« It was entirely my own fault. Because my head turned sideways and I popped, I got the worst whiplash injury in the history of the universe.
« There was a sound like a gun being fired and I swear to god I thought I broke my neck. «
She added, « When I landed and we came out of the air, I literally had to whisper, ‘Can you call me an ambulance?’
« I lost all feeling in the back of my neck, lost all feeling in my limbs and was taken to King’s College Hospital where I spent the rest of the day and night getting x-rays and exams because they thought I had broke my neck.
