It appears that Jones posted a video of what appears to be an event organized to show the effectiveness of a well-trained dog as well as the correct handling of weapons in a potentially dangerous situation

In the video, Jones is seen taking a drive with his well-trained German Shepherd, the Dutch
Jones is followed very closely by a man in a truck honking his horns. The man walks past Jones and cuts him off, forcing him off the road and stop
The man gets out of his truck and starts yelling at Jones, trying to get him to fight. It should be noted that the man in the video was wearing protective gear for the next dog attack, which is one of the ways that viewers are made aware of the staging and not of a spontaneous altercation
The man in the video picks up what the viewer later learns is a knife in the bed of the man’s truck and turns to Jones who is still in his vehicle
It is at this point that Jones orders Dutch to subdue his potential attacker Dutch jumps out of Jones’ vehicle, runs towards the man and grabs his arm with his mouth Then Dutch spins the man around and to the ground
Jones walks up with his pistol drawn, pointed at the ground and away from the man Jones calmly orders the man to drop the knife
The man drops the knife and apologizes profusely as Dutch holds his arm firmly with his jaw
Jones pulls the knife away from the man and asks what the man was thinking when he set off this whole sequence of events
All the while the Dutch have a firm grip on the man Jones finally orders Dutch to release the man and get back into the vehicle
The man writhes in pain and offers some choice words to the UFC superstar after he leaves
Even staged, there’s quite a sequence of events to see, especially for Jones fans who might miss seeing him in dangerous situations in UFC fights
Jones relinquished his light heavyweight title this summer and started preparing to move into the heavyweight division
It’s still unclear who the UFC Superstar and Pound-for-Pound King will face in the Octagon in his new weight class
