Along with this post, McGregor shared screenshots of texts from his phone to prove that messages had already been sent to and from UFC President Dana White about facing Sanchez from february
In these shared texts, McGregor showed that he had already suggested to White that Sanchez should be his next opponent and that the fight could take place in Dublin
According to the shared texts, White rejected the suggestion, but McGregor’s message to Sanchez on Friday revealed he was still willing to make it happen
According to MMA Fighting, Sanchez spoke about the possibility of facing McGregor earlier this week at a UFC 253 press event
Now Sanchez is hoping to win his next fight against Jake Matthews at UFC 253 to potentially secure his dream fight

It will be a real honor to have faced two of the greatest boxers of the modern era, afraid of a fight
Pacquiao, 41, is the only boxing champion in history to have won at least one world title in eight different weight classes
Additionally, Pacquiao currently holds the WBA welterweight title, although it’s important to note that boxing’s welterweight division is capped at 147 pounds while the UFC welterweight division is capped at 147 pounds. limited to 170
Either way, McGregor vs Pacquiao is a massive superfight in every way.It features two of the three biggest celebrities in the world of combat sports and is expected to sell tons of pay-per-views across the globe.
After all, the best-selling pay-per-view boxing event in history was Pacquaio’s loss of decision to Mayweather in 2015
So it looks like McGregor has not officially retired and believes that at least two megafights could be on the way
McGregor has said he is ready and willing to take on Sanchez in a UFC fight and has accepted a boxing match against Pacquiao
While it’s a little unclear which of these fights would come first, most pundits seem to believe the way McGregor put it on social media indicated he would face Pacquiao next in a boxing match
