World news – US – It’s National Voter Registration Day! Are you registered to vote?

Tuesday, Sept. 22 marks National Voter Registration Day and election week is only six weeks away. The day is aimed at encouraging Americans to register to vote and wants to make sure everyone has the opportunity to vote. If you are already registered to vote you are encouraged to check your registration status, find your polling location, or apply for an absentee ballot. Oregon and Washington both ask that you use a driver's license, permit or ID card number to register to vote.
