ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (WITN) – As of 6:30 am, power was restored to all Jones-Onslow EMC customers after a general blackout on Wednesday morning

At 6:15 am, power was restored to over 1,900 customers Currently, there are still 7,994 customers without power

The company told WITN that teams are working on site to resolve the issue, but did not specify the cause of the outage

Jones-Onslow EMC reports 9,917 people are without power at 5:30 am Blackout is near Swansboro and Hubert neighborhoods

In an automated message, the company says teams are close to fixing the problem They haven’t included the cause of the outage, but say they hope to have more information soon
