There’s a Clifford The Big Red Dog movie coming out next year, and we know that because Paramount just shared the first teaser!
The short video pans along a line of real puppies before introducing the giant Labrador Retriever, who instantly licks the screen.
The live-action / CG hybrid adaptation is based on the Scholastic children’s book series by Norman Bridwell and plays Darby Camp (Big Little Lies) as a little girl who acquires a very special puppy from a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) before embarking on an adventure in NYC with her new 10-foot buddy and uncle (Jack Whitehall).
The CGI that brought Clifford to life was ridiculed, but we’re sure he’s a very good boy.
