HBO’s Euphoria was created by Sam Levinson with Emmy Award-winning lead actor Zendaya and has won over audiences and critics alike after just one season. To thank the fans for their support and to make the wait for the second season a little more bearable, the first of two special episodes will appear on the screens this Sunday (the second is expected in 2021): « Trouble Don’t Last Always Always ». – unless you subscribe to HBO Max. That’s right: viewers who have the streaming service can do so on Thursday, March 3rd. December, from 12. 00 p.m. ET / Dec.. Watch a late night premiere of the special at 12 p.m. PT (with the special still premiering on HBO in December 6 at 9 p.m. ET / PT).

The special was written and directed by Levinson and focuses on the aftermath of the rue (Zendaya) that Jules (Hunter Schafer) left at the train station and relapsed at the Christmas party. Colman Domingo (Fear the Walking Dead) also starred. Here’s a look at the previously released trailer:

Even before it was officially announced in October, Zendaya had hinted that something « special » should return to the show’s universe to bridge the wait for season two. « So we could do a little bridge episode at the end. I don’t really know how to describe it, but an episode that we can do with a limited number of people in a safer environment that, I don’t know, can give to people, « she said at the time. HBO’s Euphoria was developed, written and extensively produced by Levinson. It is produced in collaboration with A24 and is based on the Israeli series of the same name created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin from HOT. Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Drake, Future the Prince, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Tmira Yardeni, Mirit Toovi, Yoram Mokady and Gary Lennon are the executive producers. with Will Greenfield as co-executive producer.
