When the Baltimore Ravens host the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night, it’s expected to be the best game of the week and maybe the whole season. There’s plenty of reason to believe this will happen. will produce with two star quarterbacks and consistently excellent franchises that will go head-to-head under the bright lights of M&T Bank Stadium
But while it’s a great game, not everyone here at Ravens Wire thinks it will be very close Where so many league experts consider it to be a close game that comes down to the last few seconds , several of the writers here go pretty far on a branch in their final score predictions, giving Baltimore a double-digit margin of victory.
Scroll down to see the Ravens insane final scoring predictions we have this week and how we all see this game play out
The last time these teams met it resulted in a final drive and a five point difference in the final score If a few balls had bounced in a different way Baltimore could just as easily have won this game. But keep in mind that Jimmy Smith was out of this game and that was before the Ravens added Marcus Peters, Calais Campbell, Derek Wolfe and Patrick Queen
Kansas City didn’t do a ton to change their squad from last season – rightly so considering the Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions But considering the game was so close last time around and that all of the improvements Baltimore has made since then, there is plenty of reason to believe the Ravens are coming out on top
Baltimore gets a few more saves than this time last year and the offense clicks a bit more for an extra touchdown on their side to change the score to my prediction
It’ll be a back-and-forth between two of the NFL’s best offenses But ultimately, the Ravens will make just enough defensive play to slow Patrick Mahomes down and give Lamar Jackson his first win in a rivalry destined to dominate the NFL for the next decade
This Ravens defense has yet to face Patrick Mahomes, and vice versa Look for Baltimore to frustrate Kansas City’s offense early on, while controlling the clock and scoreboard from the first snap They won’t be able to delay Mahomes and his company the entire game, but the Ravens should have enough ability to thwart this patented return attempt The final score will be tight, but the Ravens have apparently reached a new level this season, enough for Lamar Jackson to finally secure a victory over the team that could be his biggest challenge for years to come.
I think the game starts off with a back and forth with the teams exchanging touchdowns in the first two quarters and ending the first half at 14 points apiece.
The second half will be devoted to Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson I see a 250-yard half from him, where he throws another two or three touchdown passes Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will respond with his own affected, but a few saves by the Baltimore defense will make the difference in the result
Ravens Go Ballistic Tonight In four regular season prime-time games, Lamar Jackson has 12 touchdowns, 0 interceptions and 120 Evaluating 7 passers Jackson will be a huge factor and he will have to continue with the improved passing game that we’ve seen in the last few weeks Defense will be heavily relied upon to stop Mahomes, but like every other matchup you can’t stop Mahomes, you can only slow him down, which the Ravens do well enough to keep them at 14 points as the Ravens win 49-35
After losing several consecutive years to the Chiefs, Baltimore is hungry to win against Patrick Mahomes Their two losses were eight points combined, so they were right there The defense is much improved, the offense is still lethal, and Baltimore will come out on top in an electric, high-scoring match
