Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze have to buy new dog toys.

On Friday, the couple announced the arrival of their new pups, Kumi and Sato, on their respective Instagram accounts.

The puppies are two Akitas from the same litter and both are 8 weeks old, as noted in Gellar’s post.

The Buffy The Vampire Slayer star’s caption for the photo read, “Welcome to the Kumi and Sato family. . . Be prepared for a lot of doggie spam from me because they’re more than cute (and also because I won’t be going anywhere for a while). ‘

Some of the photos showed the pups playing with a plastic ball and another showed the littermates hanging out with their new mother.

Prinze also posted a video of the adorable Akitas showing off their first tug of war with a red plastic ring while relaxing on some grass.

The couple first met on the set of the 1997 slasher film I Know What You Did Last Summer, which featured both actors in supporting roles.

The two became engaged in 2001 and married a year later in a ceremony led by Adam Shankman, who worked with Gellar while starring Buffy Summers.

The couple have worked together in several films, notably the 2002 comedy film Scooby-Doo and its 2004 sequel Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, which starred Fred Jones and Daphne Blake.

Gellar and Prinze also voiced the 2007 animated comedy Happily N’ever After and the science fiction television series Star Wars Rebels.

He repeated his role in a brief cameo during the final act of the 2019 epic Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, in which his voice was heard among the actors of other former Jedi, including Liam Neeson and Samuel L.. . Jackson.
