Tense moments captured in El Sereno when protesters clashed with authorities over an eviction on a property owned by Caltrans.
LOS ANGELES – An eviction from a house in El Sereno drew protesters into the area Wednesday night.
The California Highway Patrol responded to an empty Caltrans house near the intersection of Lowell Avenue and Poplar Boulevard. During the eviction, a large group of demonstrators pushed the police officers.
CHP said officials tried to arrest the squatters at home. Officials did not say how many people were injured or arrested during the tense series of incidents.
